So, it's been a while due to this and that so time for an update. Phileas is currently with James Tanner on the North Island of New Zealand. James is currently making some plans: 

"The salt water circus is here next [this] weekend. An alternative surf fest. so ill grab some photos of Phileas down there. 

Meanwhile Im heading to Sri Lanka end of the month. Where I'm going with another mat rider. So if you want me too, i can take over there...

The Waiting Game

I just thought we'd better push out a quick update on Phileas as it's been 2 months and 2 days since the last one.

Unfortunately, Phileas hit the Goldie and then stopped dead. Matt said that unfortunately she landed at a time of patchy swell and busy-ness for mat meaning that she had no waves.

So, onward to James Tanner in New Zealand. Currently, Phileas is en route from James's parents to him so should arrive soon. Fingers crossed.

After the Sydney mayhem she probably fancied some rest but I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing her get back in to some action!

Getting to Know the Locals

More from the crowd in Sydney. Ben Chipper and Rachel Lewis had fun in some small junky surf, but as Ben said in his email to me, mats can make waves fun that would be aweful on a board.

Angus also got in on the action going fin-less (which seems to be on the verge of becoming a thing). Did pretty well by the looks of it! The faces say it all!

Great to see so much fun being had over there. That's what it's all about after all!
