Phileas was the 50th mat to come out of the G-Mat workshop. To celebrate this, and to say thank you for all the support I've been shown by the mat world, I thought it fitting to send her off around the world.

This blog is a record of Phileas' journey. As she gets around and people send me their pictures and and some words I'll put them up on here.

And so Phileas goes on again to possibly the most surf stoked man you will ever come across, Jeremy Grosvenor.

Jeremy lives and works around Montauk and has been riding mats for years and years and years...

Safe to say, he knows what he's up to and he tells me that there are waves so I'm really looking forward to seeing how he and Phileas get long.

For those who are unaware, Jeremy is a really interesting fella with an extremely broad mind when it comes to riding waves. His other love is paddling Hawaiian outrigger canoes. They look amazing fun!
