Mojito

Here's a mat named "Mojito" built for Newquay based Dan Binks.
Dan has been almost exclusively riding surfmats for years now and has been building his own so I was surprised and honoured to see him get in on the list for this run. He has a Biscay trip planned and needed a new mat.
We got our heads together and Dan wanted an all rounder with good glide. He is a good matsurfer and we settled on a RB-JMC. 70/70 construction, but with free elastic rocker, as Dan surfs a lot of beaches so wanted the balance between pedal to the metal down the line speed and maneuverability. We also built her as a fairly free-breather to let the air flow freely internally with a small amount of restriction, again to hold shape a little in turns.

I'm excited to hear how the trip goes. Dan has had a few waves in the little swell we've had running and he says that Mojito feels like a fit.
