Hawaii - Big Island

So then, Phileas lands on the Big Island after her stint in Oahu with Chris. Chris is currently sorting through his photos so stay tuned for them,

Phileas now resides with Brandon Treloar - Good Cornish name that! Anyway it appears from the snap below that Brando has given Phileas so time to get some rest... Or at least I hope that's what's been going on?! Here's what Brandon had to say:

Aloha Graeme,

Phileas has navigated her inter-island travel successfully. We'll take good care of her out here in Kailua-Kona, on Big Island of Hawaii. Looking at some of the shredding mat surfers who've literally left their mark on her makes me feelhonored to be a part of such a wonderful adventure.

I look forward to my time with her. I'll be in Southern California, more specifically Newport Beach area, from 22-29/4/2016, if you're looking for a hand off in that area. Otherwise. Let me know where the next suitor lives and I'll send her on her way.

Please post any evidence of her arrival in case you know any locals who want to share in the experience.

Mahalo,

Great stuff. Looks like a flying visit and then on she goes! Given the fact that it took Phileas a year to get out of Cali I think she'll be headed on from Hawaii. Stay tuned...

Climate Change

So then, last update from Canadians Graham Gidden (left) land Willie McB (right), The fellas have done a sterling job of hosting our girl in Canada. The fresh air and clean living certainly seems to have done her good after her excesses in SoCal. Here;s what Graham had to say:

We only managed a couple of water shots, but we were to busy in the surf with nobody to shoot us. The last day was great with two sessions and we surfed until sunset. Thank you for the opportunity to ride Phileas I am certain she enjoyed here stay in Canada. We celebrated with post session beers until sunset. Willie and I look forward to seeing the updates of the continued journey of Phileas. If you decide to adventure out this way please look us up. Also we both look forward to our Custom Gmats in the very near future. Keep in touch.

Sincerely,

Graham Gidden

Those G-Mat aren't likely to be in the near future as the waiting list is a tad hefty at the moment but I'm stoked to be building mats for these two in the future.

Vancouver Island looks amazing!  I've put all the shots from the last session in a gallery below.

So then, on she goes. Phileas is technically going back in to the US but not the mainland. She is off to be fitted for a hula skirt in Hawaii in the company of Chris Gilding.

Stay tuned.

Cheers

G
