Phileas was the 50th mat to come out of the G-Mat workshop. To celebrate this, and to say thank you for all the support I've been shown by the mat world, I thought it fitting to send her off around the world.
This blog is a record of Phileas' journey. As she gets around and people send me their pictures and and some words I'll put them up on here.
Around the world in... Well... Who knows?!

The video of the Sydney leg is here:
Thanks so much to Ben for really putting in a ton of work to get shots. Also to Simon, Rachel, Tom, Andy and Angus.
Phileas continues her trip up the Ozzie East coast. Next stop is with Matt Plummer. There be talk of drones...

More from the crowd in Sydney. Ben Chipper and Rachel Lewis had fun in some small junky surf, but as Ben said in his email to me, mats can make waves fun that would be aweful on a board.
Angus also got in on the action going fin-less (which seems to be on the verge of becoming a thing). Did pretty well by the looks of it! The faces say it all!
Great to see so much fun being had over there. That's what it's all about after all!
Cheers

More fun at Little Avalon for a Phileas meetup. This time, Tom Carroll made it along to get in on the action before heading off to Europe.
Ben Chipper was on the beach getting shots but plans to be getting some water time in himself over the coming week.

The crew await the return of Marc Manion from Indo and Tom from Europe. Fingers crossed we can see a bit of a matmeet go down before Phileas moves on.
Have to say, this Oz leg has tarted prrrrrrrrrrrrrretty well!
Cheers

I was stoked to receive some shots from Simon's brother Ben Chipper.
Ben got out with Simon and Rachel Lewis (yes... that Rachel Lewis from the Pitstop back in the UK). Ben manged to get some rally sweet snaps.
Beautiful shots. Looks like they are having sooooooooo much fun! Simon Chipper also sent me over some shots of the local scenery. Not a bad spot eh?! No wonder Rachel moved!
So the adventure goes on... Stay tuned and thanks to the Chippers, Rachel and Andy Owens for giving Phileas such a warm Sydney welcome.
Cheers
