More fun at Little Avalon for a Phileas meetup. This time, Tom Carroll made it along to get in on the action before heading off to Europe.

The crew await the return of Marc Manion from Indo and Tom from Europe. Fingers crossed we can see a bit of a matmeet go down before Phileas moves on.

Little Avalon Mat Surfing Lessons

Phileas is currently kicking around in NSW with Simon Chipper. Simon has had a few waves and is set to meet up with my meht Rachel Lewis fora session which should get some footage.

In the meantime, Simon got behind the lens to shoot talented bodysurfer, Andy Owens. The following shots are taken at Little Avalon of Andy's second ever session on a mat!!!  CRAZY!

The SCUMM Vid!

So stoked that Phileas managed to get down with these boys! Ladies and gents, the Phileas Project SCUMM Sessions....

Of course, this episode is tinged with sadness with the recent loss of one of our own, Eric "Da Bolt" Bridges sending a shock-wave through the mat community. Eric would have loved to have been in on this. I know from his SCUMM brethren that he was certainly there in spirit.
